Jason Kazmierski – Drill, Design & Staging

Jason Kazmierski, who studied at Oakland University focusing in marketing, is well-versed in the world of drill writing and brings many years of knowledge to his craft. Not only did Jason march in Henry Ford II High School’s marching band for all four years of his high school career, he has also been on staff with his alma mater’s marching band since the 2017-2018 school year.

Finding his love for drill-writing in 2014, Jason spent the past eight years honing his craft through Pyware. His first drill design job was with Resurgence Winter Guard, who won the MCGC Independent Regional A State Championship with drill he wrote. Jason also designed drills for Hazel Park High School for two years, leading them to a 2019 Flight IV MCBA Finals appearance, and even designing a socially-distanced drill for Hazel Park’s 2020 season. He has also been designing for Utica High School since 2018. Jason’s love for music and desire to be the best is evident in every part of his drill.

When he isn’t designing drill or teaching saxophone, you can find Jason on the golf course or spending time with friends and family.
